Henry Ford chose Veedol as the engine oil for the world’s first mass-produced Model-T Ford automobile.

Cross to the ocean

In 1928, Veedol was chosen for the Graf Zeppelin, the first aircraft to circumnavigate the globe.

Mercedes Benz C111-III broke 9 speed records in the diesel engine vehicle category using Veedol engine oils. The vehicle reached speeds of over 325 kilometers/hour.

Veedol in space

Veedol produced the first semi-synthetic oil in 1961. The Columbia Space Shuttle flew into space in 1979 using Veedol fully synthetic motor oil.

Flying Cars

Firtz B. Busch broke the flying kilometer and flying mile records for diesel-powered vehicles with a Mercedes Benz vehicle sponsored by Veedol. The record was achieved at a speed of 155 mph using Veedol Star Diesel oil.
